Kolam rice-How to cook perfectly in a pressure cooker & open pan-Step by step

Ingredients - Kolam rice -2 cups - Water – 6 cups [open pan method], Water - 5 cups [in pressure cooker]

Preparation Method 1-open pan method

  • Wash and soak the rice for 30 min
  • Heat pan add 6 cups of water, let it boil
  • Once its boiled add soaked kolam rice.
  • Cook till soft.
  • Oce its ready, cut off heat, cover lid & leave it for 5 min.
  • Then serve hot with any gravy.
